Hey y'all,

Today was one of those days where I had a lot on my mind while trying to handle my errands and stay focused on my goals. Life has definitely looked different lately, and I'm doing my best to balance everything from finances and business goals to self-care and personal growth.

Updating My Website & Planning for Growth

One of the things I've been focusing on is improving the flow of my website. Since I'm planning to add more vlogs, blogs, and future business content, I want to make sure everything is organized and easy to navigate. My goal is to create a site where visitors can quickly understand who I am and what I offer.

I don't want people landing on my homepage and feeling confused about whether my website is a blog, marketplace, personal brand, or business platform. As I continue growing Nubirah, I'm working on creating a clearer structure so visitors can easily find my videos, blog posts, products, and services all in one place.

The Reality of Living on a Fixed Income

I also spent some time talking about finances. Living on a fixed income isn't always easy, especially when you're trying to pay off debt, keep up with bills, and still invest in your future.

Over the past year, I've had to adjust to a lot of changes. Some of my previous income streams were disrupted, so I've been working hard to create new opportunities for myself. Whether it's making jewelry, helping clients with websites, blogging, or finding other side hustles, I'm determined to keep moving forward. The truth is that financial progress doesn't always happen overnight. Sometimes it's one payment at a time, one client at a time, and one day at a time.

Running Errands & Handling Responsibilities

Part of my day included heading to the bank and taking care of some important financial responsibilities. These aren't always the most exciting tasks, but they're necessary if I want to stay on track with my goals. I've learned that being financially responsible isn't just about making money. It's also about staying organized, handling obligations, and making decisions that support your long-term future.

Taking Time for Self-Care

Even when life gets busy, I'm learning how important it is to make time for myself.

I stopped to get my eyebrows threaded and talked a little about improving my skincare routine. As I've gotten older, I've become more aware of taking care of my skin and feeling confident in my appearance. Sometimes the smallest self-care activities can make a big difference in how you feel mentally and emotionally. Self-care doesn't always have to be expensive or complicated. Sometimes it's simply taking the time to do something that helps you feel good about yourself.

My Nose Piercing Experience

One of the highlights of the day was getting my nose pierced. I was excited about it, but I'll be honest—I wasn't completely sure how I felt afterward because the placement was a little higher than I originally expected. Even so, I'm giving myself time to adjust and see how I feel once everything heals. Sometimes we try new things, and they don't turn out exactly the way we imagined. That's just part of the experience.

A Quick Dollar Tree Run

Before ending the day, I made a quick trip to Dollar Tree to pick up a few household items and supplies. I always enjoy finding affordable items that help me stay organized and keep my home running smoothly. Sometimes it's the simple errands that help keep everything together.

Staying Focused on My Goals

Before wrapping up the day, I reminded myself that I still have work to do. I'm currently focused on finishing a client's website project, which will help bring in extra income while allowing me to continue building my business. There are days when things feel overwhelming.

Between grief, finances, business goals, and everyday responsibilities, life can feel like a lot. But I'm learning that success isn't about being perfect. It's about continuing to show up, even when things aren't easy.

Every blog post, every vlog, every website update, every piece of jewelry I create, and every step forward is helping me build the future I want. Thank you for following my journey and supporting me as I continue growing, learning, and creating. I appreciate every single one of you.

Until next time,

Steph 💚
