What Happened

Woman in a car, wearing a camo GEORGIA hat and colorful braids, looks sad. Text says Missing my Mom... Sad. 😭

My mother passed away in March 2026, and honestly, I'm still trying to navigate life without her. Everything happened so suddenly. I share a little about what happened, including finding my mother unconscious after she suffered a head injury and the long journey that followed as she remained in the ICU from January until her passing in March.

Learning to Live Without Her

Since losing her, I've had to learn how to handle so many things on my own that my mother used to help me with. Some days are harder than others, and grief is something I'm still working through every day. There are moments when the reality of her absence feels overwhelming, but I'm doing my best to keep moving forward.

Finding Ways to Cope

I also talk about some of the things that are helping me cope, including therapy and my desire to find local activities and programs that will help me stay active, connected, and engaged with life during this difficult season.

Updates on My Website

I've decided that many of the more detailed stories and updates about my mother's situation will be shared on this website rather than here on YouTube. If you'd like to stay connected and receive updates, I encourage you to subscribe to my email list through my website.

A Message From My Heart

Thank you for taking the time to listen and be part of my journey. If there's one thing I want people to take away from this video, it's this: cherish your parents while they're here. Time is precious, and tomorrow is never promised.

Thank you for watching.
